Carter provides our members a wide selection of professional services to assist with their financial needs. Direct Deposit is one of the easiest and safest ways to deposit your paycheck or other recurring deposits. The funds are deposited to your Carter account electronically and are available to you immediately. In order to begin direct deposit with your employer, you will need to provide your employer's payroll department with the routing and transit number below along with your Carter account number. Payroll deduction allows you to designate a portion of your pay for deposit and/or loan payment each time you get paid.
If you'd like to directly deposit a government check like Social Security or Federal Pensions you can call Social Security toll-free at 1-800-772-1213 and ask to sign up for direct deposit. You will need the routing and transit number for Carter Credit Union.
Carter Credit Union's Routing Number, 311175983, as well as the member's full membership number is required to set up a direct deposit or preauthorized payment.
