Floyd and Gladys Carter Scholarship Application
Award Amount: Two $2,500 Carter Credit Union scholarships will be awarded. One for a student attending a Trade/Technical College and another for a student attending a College/University. The winners will be announced and posted on our website, cartercu.org on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Eligibility: The applicant must be a student that is planning to enroll full-time in an accredited college, university, or trade-school during the fall of 2025. The applicant or parent/guardian must be a member in good standing with Carter Credit Union with a minimum of two years of membership. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum ACT score of 18 or a minimum SAT of 500. (Carter Credit Union staff members, directors and their family members including, but not limited to spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandchildren, stepparents, stepsiblings, are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.)
Application Deadline: All applications must be completed via the link below and received no later than Monday, March 2, 2026, by 5:00 pm. Absolutely no exceptions to this deadline date, time, and method of delivery. Applications dropped at branch locations will not be accepted under any circumstances.
