Please note the transition dates on your calendar:

The transition to Carter Credit Union’s system will begin on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. and will continue through Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.

Take care of special transactions before the transition dates:

The Piney Hills Branch will be closed on Friday, June 28, 2024. Please visit the branch prior to the closure for any special in-branch transactions. Please continue to use your Piney Hills Federal Debit Card through Friday, June 28, 2024. You may start using your Carter Credit Union Debit Card on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Your Piney Hills Debit Card will be deactivated on Monday, July 1, 2024.

We understand that this change will come with some temporary inconveniences and delays. In the days leading up to – and following – the transition, we ask for your patience as we expect to receive higher-than-normal telephone calls and inquiries. Frequently Asked Questions About the Transition

Yes, the safekeeping of member accounts and personal information is the Credit Union’s top priority.

Yes, the Piney Hills branch will be closed on Friday, June 28, 2024, and will reopen at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 1, 2024.

You can register for Online and Mobile Banking on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Please use this link to register. You must have an email on file prior to registering. For issues or help with registering you can text us at (318)864-9966.

Members will need to continue using their Piney Hill Debit Card through Friday, June 28, 2024. On Saturday, June 29th, members can then transition over to their new Carter Credit Union debit card. Your new Carter Credit Union debit card will be mailed to you in June 2024, but will not be available for use until Saturday, June 29, 2024. If you have lost or misplaced your new Carter debit card you can visit the Piney Hills Branch on Monday, July 1, 2024 for instant issue of a new card.

Yes, your current checks will continue to process normally until December 1, 2024. Please plan to bring in your old books to the Piney Hills Branch and we will order you complimentary replacement books. If you order checks from third parties such as checks.com, please reach out to confirm the correct routing and account information. 

Yes, any ACH automatic deposits or automatic withdrawals you currently have set up will process as normal. Any new direct deposits will need to use Carter’s routing number, 311175983, and if you received a new account number this information will also need to be provided.  

All loan payments will process as normal.

No, but you may request your account history anytime.

Most member numbers will remain the same. There are a few members whose member numbers will change, and we will reach out to those individuals directly.

Yes, you can view these on Carter’s Online Banking platform, monthly statement, or contact a Carter representative for assistance.
